Amanda Schulz is a fourth generation Dallasite and a 10-year resident of Lower Greenville. She has worked in residential real estate for over twenty years as a real estate broker and attorney. She is also a certified Texas Master Gardener and a small business owner, specializing in honeybees.
Amanda is the recipient of the 2022 Volunteer Excellence Award, given by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, in honor of her service to groups like Friends of Santa Fe Trail, Friends of Tietze Park, the Cochran Park Pollinator Garden, the University Crossing Trail and the Lake Highlands Community Garden.
Amanda's Dad is a former Dallas police officer and her Mom was secretary to John G. Pew, retired Executive Vice President of Sun Oil, and then office manager to Dr. Armond G. Schwartz, M.D., Methodist Medical Center. She is married to her Duncanville High School sweetheart, Jon. Their kids both attend St. John’s Episcopal School, where Amanda often chairs the Carnival Bake Sale. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Saint Mary’s University School of Law. The family attends King of Glory Lutheran Church, where Jon serves on the church council and Amanda manages the church pollinator garden.
Amanda is a hard working community volunteer - not a political partisan. She is grateful that city council offices are nonpartisan, and she will always put the interests of families in District 14 first.
